Strappo
The strappo is a restoration technique that involves tearing a fresco from the wall on which it was painted, transferring it to a new surface, thus preserving the original work. This technique, also known in Catalonia for the removal of frescoes in Romanesque churches in the Pyrenees, fascinates him for its procedure and results, especially for accidents like irregularities or wear.
