Creation of new frescoes inspired by the original paintings, representing solitude, the solace of nature, and reunion with loved ones through the story of Joachim, who was expelled from the community according to the Protoevangelium of James. These are the same scenes originally painted by Gozzoli in 1491, but interpreted through the materiality of fresco painting.
