TECHNIQUE: False fresco
YEAR: 2018
BUILDING: Mare de Déu del Port
CITY/REGION: Barcelona (Catalonia)
DIMENSIONS: 150 m2

The pictorial intervention occupies the apse of the temple and was carried out as an imitation of the fresco procedure, with the same pigments of the fresco technique. A large seascape that represents the arrival at the port, shows an idealized vision of the marina neighborhood, at the foot of Montjuïc and the old Llobregat riverdelta. In the mural, the neighborhood is connected with the sea, which is currently impossible due to the industrial occupation of the old port.
